Name of Project: Cleveland Museum of Art Asbestos Abatement Project

Project Costs: Asbestos Abatement and On Site Management Division Value, $4.3 million.

Project Delivery Model: Owners Representative, Open Book Format, Retained Consultants.

Project Description: Paul M Yoe, MMI, Asbestos Evaluation Specialist partnered with TSI Consulting. TSI Consulting was a retained Owners Representative. Working with Certified Asbestos Abatement Designer, Wayne Ingram, Paul and Wayne collectively figured out the drawing coordination’s between all Asbestos Material sample gathered from the Asbestos Management Plan for all Museum Buildings. Paul was responsible to produce all Asbestos Abatement drawings for all Museum galleries and buildings. TSI Consulting was responsible for all on site Project Supervision and Asbestos Project Management. Paul acting as Project Oversight worked for TSI and performed On Site Project Management services for the Second shift.

  • Pre Design Estimating Scope of work development and Filed Survey.
  • Coordination’s and scope of work developments of all Museum galleries for entire facility.
  • Drawing of all Museum galleries and Museum buildings.
  • Management and monitoring of all Asbestos Abatement for all galleries and all Museum building.
  • Paul Yoe had opportunity to work on a National recognized Museum of Art providing testing, monitoring and management services for the onsite monitoring of the second shift abatement.
  • Daily air sample gathering, management of air carrtiage collection, sending air samples to laboratory for daily posting of air quality in different museum areas for thru project duration.
  • Coordination’s of Asbestos abatements and demolition.
  • Responsibility for oversight of abatements and demolition on a Nationally recognized Museum of Art.
  • Second shift air monitoring, contractor clearance facility inspection and review for clearance to allow for abatement removals and construction demolition.
  • Drafting and detailing of Phase two Abatement plans while working evening shift.
  • Contractor monitoring and interface with museum security during second shift.
